Tuition Assistance Application
To be eligible for any of the scholarships you need to complete a Tuition Assistance Application form. This form is included in the school registration packet, but you can also pick up a copy from the school office. There are no set income limits to apply for aid. For existing families, the F.A.C.T.S. registration must be completed.
Application Deadline
The deadline for returning the Tuition Assistance Application is generally March 1st, but applications will be accepted throughout the entire year. However, you must meet the deadline to be eligible for a Diocesan Scholarship.
Application Process
Grant and Aid Application needs to be completed at factstuitionaid.com. Click on applicant, sign in and follow the prompts. The Educational Foundation will review the information from FACTS to determine eligibility for grant and/or scholarship tuition assistance. In certain situations, a meeting with the Principal may be needed.
Scholarship Award Process
In early May the Educational Foundation reviews the performance of the Saint Alexander Catholic School Scholarship Program and determines how much income is available for distribution as Scholarships for the coming school year.
A person from the Educational Foundation reviews the PSAS and any special notes received from the parents. The Grantor then allocates the Educational Foundation Grants and Tuition Angel Grants based upon the funds available and the needs of the families.
Awards Notification
The Principal will be notified of the amount of each scholarship in early June.
Notifications are then sent out to all of the recipient families at this time.
